well the 360 premium HD cable is component. The core's is just plain red/white/yellow. We'll see. Again I'd doubt the HD cable component because it's still expensive. Also if that were true they would of announced that along with the exclusion of the HDMI. Which they didn't so I imagine their still thinking about it.

kewlkat, PS2 consumers bought the console at 200 bucks not 500-600. And they didn't need a 800 dollar HDTV to use blu-ray.
The PS3 isn't for normal consumers(market bulk) if the cost is above 300 bucks. Goes for the 360 too.

sony's said that developers may charge for online. In which I'm sure some will because it costs an incredible amount of money and resources to run a global server.
As far as sony goes it's free, as far as the developers go it's up to them.
